Novotel Wien Hauptbahnhof

I liked that the hotel room was very clean. The bathroom was clean and had all the essentials, including hair dryer. There was an electric kettle in the room as well as some tea and coffee. There were water bottles left for us. Bedding and towels were also clean. Both the double bed and the sofa bed were comfortable. We didn't have our breakfast included in the room price, but we paid for it separately €25 per person, and our kids ate for free. The food was very tasty and there were many options available. Variety of choices - from cereal and yoghurt to sausages, bacon, and eggs. Freshly made smoothies and freshly squeezed juice. The coffee was to my taste. My son has food allergies, and the kitchen staff were able to prepare some food suitable for him. Also, they were able to answer all my questions regarding the food ingredients. Next to the restaurant there is a play area, so we could finish our breakfast in peace while the kids were playing. There was public parking with plenty of car spaces. It costs €25 per day. There is great transport near the hotel. There are trams and trains etc. within 2 minutes walk from the hotel. We took the tram to the central part of Vienna, and it took about 20 minutes to get there.

Everything about the hotel is super. The location is hard to beat, 2 minutes walk to the station where there are trains every 30-60 minutes and can take you everywhere. The room is not as spacious as shown in the picture, but enough for us (2 adults and 1 toddler). The room is super clean, toiletries are not provided by default but you can always request for anything you want, also, 5 mins walking will take you to the supermarket, so you can but anything there as well. The bed is kind of small for us, so it is a little bit uncomfortable. However, overall, the room is great value for money. Breakfast is not many options, my daughter was a bit sad that there is no pancakes or waffles, but she loves other warm dishes, so it is great as well.

The hotel is ideally located right next to the train, bus, metro and tram stations. A great advantage is the sensational view from the 19th floor to the whole of Vienna. The gym and sauna are very cozy. The rooms are soundproofed. Breakfasts are varied, though expensive. The robot that helps to keep breakfast tidy is a big attraction for children. There is a children's playroom next to the breakfast room, which is very helpful. The hotel cares about ecology, room cards are wooden, and at breakfast products in plastic packaging, such as yogurt or butter, have been eliminated. The staff is nice.

I liked everything in this hotel. Especially the staff. Very very very clean rooms and the hotel itself is clean. Staff is always ready and available to assist you. I came in with two of my kids and I was surprised they had an internal playroom for kids and it was very clean and neat. Parking was very convenient for a cost of 25 euros with the hotel discount. The location is amazing! There is a train station/ underground right across the street of the hotel. The station has tons of restaurants and groceries and also DM pharmacy. I will definitely stay with this hotel when I visit Vienna again.
